MediaCreationTool.bat (also known as the Universal MCT Wrapper) is a popular open-source third-party script that automates the downloading of official Windows 10 and Windows 11 ISO files directly from Microsoft’s servers. It bypasses standard restrictions, allowing you to fetch historical Windows versions (like specific 21H2 or 22H2 builds) and natively patches Windows 11 installation files to bypass strict TPM, Secure Boot, and RAM hardware requirements. Step-by-Step Guide to Use the Script Download the Script Archive

Visit the official developer repository on the AveYo MediaCreationTool.bat GitHub Page. Click the green Code button at the top right. Select Download ZIP from the dropdown menu. Extract the Files

Locate the downloaded ZIP file in your system downloads folder. Right-click the archive and choose Extract All. Select a destination folder and complete the extraction. Execute the Batch File Open the newly extracted folder. Right-click on MediaCreationTool.bat. Select Run as administrator. Click Yes if a User Account Control (UAC) warning pops up. Select Your Windows Version

A command prompt window and a graphical menu interface will open simultaneously.

Choose the target operating system version you need (e.g., 10 for Windows 10 variants or 11 for the latest Windows 11 builds).

Select the specific sub-build or feature update version from the next list if prompted. Choose Your Output Media Type

Auto ISO: This option downloads the official files and builds an untouched ISO file directly in your folder via background processes.

Create ISO: This downloads the files and applies custom tweaks—such as automated TPM and hardware requirement bypasses—directly into the generated ISO file.

Create USB: This formats a connected USB flash drive and writes the installation media setup directly to it. Wait for Completion

The script will call Microsoft’s official infrastructure to download the temporary ESD files.

It will automatically process and package the files into your chosen format.

Close the tool once the command prompt window finishes the process and displays a completion message. Why Use This Over the Official Tool?

Access Older Builds: Microsoft’s official site only offers the single newest public release. This script unlocks a full historical archive of previous Windows versions.

Automatic Hardware Bypass: The script includes code that modifies the installation environment (boot.wim), allowing you to install modern Windows 11 updates seamlessly on unsupported or older computers.

FAT32 Optimization: It forces downloads using heavily compressed .esd file storage rather than bloated .wim files, ensuring the final installation files easily fit within the strict 4GB individual file size limits of traditional FAT32 formatted flash drives.

If you are ready to set this up, let me know which version of Windows you intend to download, or if you need help burning the finished ISO file onto a bootable drive! Media Creation Tool updated – Windows 10 Help Forums
